Terms of Service

These terms cover the private MCP servers operated under Miller Family MCP. By signing in and using them, you agree to them.

The service

Miller Family MCP is a set of private, self-hosted Model Context Protocol servers that let an AI assistant work with household collections. It is an independent, non-commercial project operated by Matthew Miller, offered free of charge to family and invited friends. We try to keep it running and your data intact, but it is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and may change, pause, or end at any time.

Access is by invitation

Access is granted by adding your email address to an invitation list, and it can be removed at any time and for any reason. There is no sign-up, no subscription, and nothing to pay. Your permissions may be read-only, read and write, or administrative; the server enforces this on every request, and attempting to work around it is a misuse of the service.

Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for what happens under it. Do not share your access with anyone who has not been invited themselves.

House rules

• Treat shared collections with care. Assume other people rely on the entries you change or remove.
• Do not attempt to probe, overload, or interfere with the servers, or to reach data or tools you have not been granted.
• Do not use these servers to break the terms of the outside services they connect to.
• Do not use the service for anything unlawful.

Access may be suspended or removed for any breach of these rules.

Assistants act on your behalf

These servers are designed to be driven by AI assistants. An assistant acting under your sign-in is treated as you, and you are responsible for what it does with your permissions. AI assistants make mistakes — check anything that matters before relying on it, particularly where an action changes or deletes a record.

Your data

How personal information is handled, and how to have it removed, is described in the Privacy Policy.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including any loss of data. Total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to use it, which is zero.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the effective date above. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
